AYM4Training - Computer Software Instruction - Live Online Classes - Onsite Classes

Adobe Classes

Our classes cover a great many of Adobe's broad range of software offerings. To help our students decide what classes may be of interest, we've listed descriptions of each software application below.

Classes are offered both Online and Onsite. Students attending Online classes should be comfortable with manipulating their computer's mouse, and clicking with reasonable accuracy, as well as having a reasonable ability with the keyboard.

Our regular classes are offered using the curriculum listed for each course. However any class can be customized for students who register for our "One-On-One" classes, or "Customized" sessions.

For a description of each of the software programs, please click a title below:

Adobe Photoshop™ - Level 1

Students who are new to using Photoshop will gain familiarity with the interface. Along with learning the interface, students will begin to understand how to organize and rank images, apply image corrections and adjustments, and specify where those adjustments are made.  Students will also learn the fundamentals of creating their own graphic designs. Upon completion of Level 1, students will have sufficient knowledge to begin working on their own images.

Adobe Photoshop™ - Level 2

In this class, students who are already familiar with Photoshop fundamentals learn to use Photoshop Non-Destructively. This means that adjustments and changes are always editable , alterable, and/or removable, allowing the user to extend his or her creativity. Students will learn more in-depth image adjustment tools, how to retouch images, and additional tips and tricks. Due to the variations in class pacing, the pen tool may only receive cursory coverage in this class, and is included only if there is additional available class time. Upon completion of the Level 2 class, students will be well on their way to working independently in Photoshop.

Adobe Photoshop™ - Level 3

In Level 3, Advanced Photoshop students will learn to expand the power and use of Photoshop. Students will learn the depth of working with vector graphics within Photoshop, enabling them to create custom graphics and to have greater power in removing items from their backgrounds (for compositing). Among many new tips and tricks, students will gain control of the natural media painting capabilities of Photoshop, and the most powerful methods of correcting and adjusting images. This class will include many special effects, along with automation, 3D, and animation techniques. Students who have completed the Level 3 class (and practiced all they’ve learned) will be fully prepared to WOW potential employers and clients
